Peoplestring is a Social Networking Website, similar to Facebook, in that, both are closed systems. But, in addition to being a Social Networking web site, Peoplestring is also a Multi Level Marketing system. To be a member of Peoplestring means that you are at least a member of the Social Networking part of Peoplestring; you may or may not be a part the Peoplestring Multi Level Marketing system.
PeopleString has indicated that a significant advantage that PeopleString has is that PeopleString shares its advertising revenue with its members.
Clarification Note: PeopleString does not share its advertising revenue with all of its members. PeopleString shares its advertising revenue only with the members that have joined the Multi Level Marketing part of Peoplestring. To join the multi level marketing part of Peoplestring, members are required to complete a survey , receive a post card that provides an activation code, and use the activation code to activate their Multi Level Marketing account. The survey consist of 30 questions. One thing in the survey is to indicate the number of pieces of postal mail you want to receive per day. You have the option of receiving 0 pieces of postal mail per day or more than 0. Postal mail is part of the Mail Box Cash Box. You get credit for visiting the Mail Box Cash Box even if you select the option of receiving 0 pieces of postal mail per day. I have "opted" not to receive postal mail.

3 Earning Money with PeopleString (EMwPS)

The amount of money you earn as a member of the Peoplestring Multi Level Marketing system is proportional to:
[] the number of people points that you have and the
[] the activity of your downline.
At the time of the last update of this web page, as a member of the Peoplestring Multi Level Marketing system, you can earn people points by doing various operations as follows. Each day, there are 8 operations that Peoplestring members, who are part of the Multi Level Marketing system, can do to earn people points.
(1) Logging in once in each of two time intervals of the day; the AM, and the PM; Eastern Time.
(2) Searching by using the Google Search box on your homepage.
(3) Checking your email on the Peoplestring Email web page.
(4) Checking the Peoplestring Mail Box Cash Box.
(5) Shopping by using the Peoplestring shopping links.
For operations (2) thru (5); in each of two time intervals of the day; the AM, and the PM; Eastern Time; in each AM, people points can be earned once and sometimes twice. And, in each PM, people points can be earned once and sometimes twice.
(6) Playing the People Lotto which is available once every 4 hours.
(7) Playing the Prize Wheel: once per day plus one time for each signup of a referral.
(8) Playing the Guess Which Hand Game: as many times as you want.
Caution: Each time you play the Guess Which Hand Game, you can win or lose people points.
At the time of the last update of this web page, Free members earn 10% of their direct referrals earnings and 2% of all earnings on levels 2 through 6. Entrepreneur members earn 20% of their direct referrals earnings and 6% of all earnings on levels 2 through 6. As you do various operations, you will be earning money that go into your Peoplestring Current Earnings Account. The Minimum payment amount is $25.00. This means you must accumulate at least $25.00 in your Current Earnings Account in order to get paid. The payment plan is that: when the minimum payment amount is met; entrepreneur members get paid every 2 weeks and free members get paid once a month.
In my opinion, approximately all marketing systems can be considered to be Multi Level Marketing systems; because the marketers can be considered to be on levels: (1) in accordance to money making level indication variables such as wealth, income, profit, efficiency, effectiveness, shares, points, etc. and/or (2) in accordance to a network structure that has up lines and down lines. So, a marketer may be on at least two types of levels; (1) a money making type level, and (2) a network type level. The main question when joining a Multi Level Marketing Business is will the business be a True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing Business for new members. I plan to be regularly checking for the answer. At the time of the last update of this web page, I expect that Peoplestring is a True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing Business for new members. Time will tell.
I think the best way to learn about Peoplestring is to join as a free member and find out what you can earn. As a member of Peoplestring, your earnings will include advertising shared revenue which is a function of the people points you have and the amount of advertising revenue received by Peoplestring.

Advertising shared revenue is expected to be the main method of getting money into a member's account. Advertising shared revenue is the main indicator about how well peoplestring is doing.
At end of time interval 2009/1109 - 2011/0117 (approximately 14 months), the money in my account by advertising shared revenue was $23.41.
During the time interval 2009/1109 - 2011/0117, I won $1.00 from the PeopleString Prize Wheel, four times, giving me $4.00 by the PeopleString Prize Wheel.
So, at time 2011/0117, I was pass the Minimum payment amount of $25.00. Other small amounts of money went into my account; such as $ 1.50 that I received for completing the survey which consisted of the 30 questions. At time 2011/0201, I received an email from Peoplestring which stated that I should now see that a payment has been listed in my Transaction Section. And that my payment will be sent in approximately 7-10 days. I checked my Transaction Section which indicated a $30.30 Payment at time 2011/0201. At time 2011/0209, I received an email from AlertPay which stated:

So, at end of time interval 2009/1109 - 2011/0209 (approximately 15 months), peoplestring payment No. 1 has occurred for me. So, in my opinion PeopleString is not a scam. And for time interval 2009/1109 - 2011/0209, PeopleString has been a True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing Business for me.
New members can expect that their advertising shared revenue will be low in the beginning and hopefully increase to an acceptable amount if they continue their activity long enough. Generally, you have a good chance of a Multi Level Marketing Business being a True Business Opportunity for you if you get in early and be active.
In the Peoplestring system, to be in a person's string means that the person receives credit for bringing you into the Social Networking part of Peoplestring. After you complete the requirements of the Multi Level Marketing part of Peoplestring you will be in the person's downline. In my opinion, when you decide whose downline to get into, consider joining in the downline of a person who you believe is at a relatively low level in the Multi Level Marketing Business; this will tend to cause the Multi Level Marketing Business to last for a long time and to not become a has-been. One of the signs that a Multi Level Marketing Business is on its way to becoming a has-been is that new members join and find out that their income is going to be much less than what they expected; so they decrease their activity significantly and/or get out; and this tends to cause the Multi Level Marketing Business to become a has-been. Some Multi Level Marketing Businesses are able make changes that will keep the business from becoming a has-been. So, if you join a Multi Level Marketing Business and you find out that you got in too late to be getting in early, consider keeping active for a reasonable amount of time to give the Multi Level Marketing Business a chance to make changes that will prevent it from becoming a has-been.
