Social Networking web sites are designed to make social networking easy for a large number of people. We can aim to make optimum use of Social Networking web sites and the other types of internet systems.
Twitter is a social networking system that provides a sequence of free web pages to its members. The sequence of web pages can be thought of as a stack of web pages. Twitter members can post sequences of characters on their web pages. The Twitter name for the sequences of characters is tweets and/or updates. Each tweet can consist of a maximum of 140 characters. So, we can consider that a whole message may require one or more than one tweet. Twitter members can read and post tweets. Visitors can not post tweets. But, there are some tweets that visitors can read. Members and visitors can search Twitter and find tweets. To do an search twitter, use the Twuet Twitter Search Box, or click the search twitter link to go to the Twitter Search box.

To do a search twitter, click: search twitter.

This web page 123_LT_01 interfaces with the Twitter Social Networking website. And, this web page 123_LT_01 interfaces with web page 123, which interfaces with the Twitter Social Networking website. The Twitter question is what are you doing. At a certain point in time, I started doing some Learning Twitter, which I plan to continue.
This folder b web page is considered to be a Web 1.0 type web page. The Twitter web pages are considered to be Web 2.0 type web pages. I think that one of the main differences between the two types of web pages is that Web 2.0 uses the more modern technology. Web 1.0 is expected to provide stability. Web 2.0 is expected to be more dynamic. The expectation is that interfacing these two types of web pages will optimize Social Networking.

The Twitter message thread of concern in this document is the "Learning Twitter" message thread, which is the next section in this document. Generally, on this web site, Twitter Message Thread sections contain the information of past, present, and future tweets of the Twitter system. Messages on Twitter are dynamic and temporary. Messages in the Twitter Message Thread sections of this web site are more stable. And some of the information is permanent or at least saved for a relatively long time. Or the information may be transferred to other sections of this web site.

Time 2009/0712A1150: I did a search twitter to find twitterers for: Twitter Basics.
Total search results was: 23 pages, 242 twitterers, 7days ago. Newest tweets, page 1. Oldest tweets, page 23.
Page number increases with tweet age (The oldest tweets were 7days old).
The "7days ago" means at the search time, tweets had existed in the public time line for no longer than 7days.
Results: 242 twitterers. I have listed the 242 twitterers on web page http://www.folderb.com/pg_123.html.

On web page http://www.folderb.com/pg_123.html
, the 242 twitterers are listed in the: Learning Twitter Category.

In previous messages, some Search Results tweets have been missing because times were specified in the tweets.
A possible method of resolving this problem of missing Search Results tweets is to
include more text before and/or after the text that specifies time.

In this test, I am planning to add these 12 tweets to my profile tweets, so that the following is expected::
Time 2009/0706P0620: Profile: 101 tweets; Search Results: 24 tweets
Time 2009/0706P0630: Profile: 113 tweets; Search Results: 36 tweets
The plan is to find a method to repeatedly send the same message to the public time line, without spamming followers.
Reference (1): http://ccnmtl.columbia.edu/enhanced/noted/twitter_basics.html
Reference (1) indicates that: If your tweet is intended for one user in particular, type the @ symbol followed by
the user's screen name before your message.
Followers are expected to receive tweets if the symbol_user_screen_name sequence of characters are not in the tweets.
A twitter search for the message thread identifier is expected to provide the message thread.

In this test, I am planning to add and delete these 10 tweets to my profile tweets, so that the following is expected:
Time 2009/0705P0850: Profile: 101 tweets; Search Results: 14 tweets
Time 2009/0705P0900: Profile: 101 tweets; Search Results: 24 tweets
The plan is to illustrate that adding new tweets to the profile web page also adds the new tweets to the Search Results web page.
But deleting the new tweets from the profile web page does not delete them from the Search Results web page.
There is a time delay in deleting the tweets from the Search Results web page.
The Twitter system deletes the tweets of the Search Results web page when the tweets are considered to be too old.

Observations of the contents of my profile web page, my Twitter Search Results web page; and my followings and followers follows:
Time 2009/0625A0545: Profile: 87 tweets; Search Results: 45 tweets; following 2; followers: 33.
Time 2009/0629P0344: Profile: 87 tweets; Search Results: 25 tweets; following 2; followers: 31.
Time 2009/0629P0402: Profile: 87 tweets; Search Results: 25 tweets; following 3; followers: 31.
Time 2009/0701P1130: Profile: 87 tweets; Search Results: 00 tweets; following 3; followers: 30.
The data indicates that the Twitter search results web page is a function of time. Old tweets are popped off the bottom of the stack. So, Twitter Search Results web pages are like dynamic memory which needs to be refreshed occasionally. I'm going to consider messages on Twitter to be temporary messages. I plan to keep my Profile tweets relatively low by deleting old tweets and adding new tweets. I think that by deleting old tweets of my profile web page I will also be deleting my old tweets from the home pages of my followers. I plan to save the information of my old Twitter messages on the folder b web pages. I expect that this message and the previous message can be found by searching Twitter for message thread identifier TL_01. The previous message contains an error which I will try to correct in this message.
Observations of the contents of my profile web page and my Twitter search results web page follows:

Conclusion: There is a transient in the number of tweets on member's Twitter search results web page. I think the reason for the transient is that the Twitter system must do a lot of processing in order to get to a stable status. I have searched the internet and found lots of information about Twitter that I don't understand and
not ready to learn at this 2009/0620 time. But, I did find some information about Twitter that I do
understand. I think I understand it. Some basic knowledge about Twitter is: Twitter is a social
networking system that provides FREE web pages to its members. Some knowledge about Twitter is
obtained by observation, experiment and use of inductive logic; (in other words, trial and error).
A tweet is a sequence of characters. Twitter provides, to its members, three types web pages that can
contain tweets. The three types web pages, provided by Twitter are:
the profile web page, the home web page, and the Twitter search results web page. The Twitter
search results web page may actually consist of a sequence of web pages rather than just one web
page, but to simplify the description, here the Twitter search results web page is considered to be
one web page. On their profile web page, Twitter members can post a stack of tweets.
Each tweet can consist of a maximum of 140 characters. Blank spaces are counted as characters.
Tweets are also called updates.
In the three types web pages, the tweets are always in chronological order; newer tweets are always on
top of the older tweets. On profile web pages, any tweet can be deleted; and new tweets can be added
on the top of the stack.
A member's home web page is generated by including the tweets of followed members in with a stack of
the member's profile tweets.
At this 2009/0620 time, I need to do more research in order to provide information about a member's
Twitter search results web page. At this 2009/0620 time, I have defined the
Twitter search results for a member to be the results you get if you search for member's user name.
Initially, I expected that if I search for a member's user name, I would get the same tweets as the
member's profile web page. But now at this 2009/0620 time, I suspect that
the size of the member's Twitter search results depends on the number of followed members.
This is the 2009/0803 update of this 2009/0620a message.
