The Duo Servers/FolderB business is one business in a set of businesses that are included in a larger business identified here as Duo Servers, also known as LiquidNet Ltd. The main products of Duo Servers and also Duo Servers/FolderB are Web Hosting and Domain Names. The main participants in the Duo Servers business are customers and marketers (also called resellers).  A person may be a customer and/or a reseller. I am a customer and a reseller. As a reseller, I am Duo Servers/FolderB (or FolderB for short).

 

Each Duo Servers reseller has the option of also being an affiliate. An objective of a reseller who is an affiliate is to sign up people to be resellers. People who sign up to be resellers are denoted as referrals. Resellers that get people to sign up are denoted as referrers. People that the referrers get to join the businesses are the referrer's referrals, and are in the referrer's down line. Duo Servers will pay commissions to referrers based on the earnings of the referrer's down line. Generally, resellers are competing with each other. However, if you have resellers in your down line, then helping those resellers generally mean you are also helping yourself. So, in this Duo Servers Business, we resellers are partly competing with each other and partly working together helping each other. So, we have to aim at optimum competitiveness and optimum togetherness. This is what can cause the Duo Servers Business to grow. The competitiveness is mainly about building and maintaining down lines.

 

Resellers who get people to sign up to be resellers are marketing the business opportunity. Since Duo Servers provides a business opportunity, I consider Duo Servers to be a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business. Also, since Duo Servers involve the use of down lines, Duo Servers is a specific type of Multi Level Marketing (MLM) System called a Network Marketing System. Duo Servers provides a most common type of Network Marketing System in which the marketers try to sign up people to be in their down line so that the marketers will get commissions on what their down line sell. This does create the problem of marketing the main product versus marketing the business.

 

During 2005 June to 2006 July, I was mainly a customer; but I was also a reseller which allowed me to get a commission so that when I reach the minimum payment amount, I would have effectively received the hosting and domain name at the whole sale price. That means that I was just a customer, effectively receiving hosting and domain name at the whole sale price. Another way to say it is that I was reseller with myself as my only customer. In 2006 July, I decided to actually try to market the products. I was allowed to make a change such that I became a customer of some other reseller (not my self). In my opinion, this gave me the chance to do True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing (MLM). I think that for the Duo Servers system to work as a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) system, the resellers must buy from some one (not their self) and sell to someone (not their self). I think doing True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing (MLM) requires following the Golden Rule. I can't expect many people to buy from me if I am not willing to buy from some one else.

 

Multi Level Marketing (MLM) is a game in which we each try to get at a high level by being a better marketer than the competition. Some times groups can be formed in which groups can work together and be a better group of marketers than the other marketers. In doing Multi Level Marketing, if you have a up line and a down line, then you are a member of a group which can be denoted as your up line/ down line group. If you can help your up line/ down line group to succeed, then you are helping yourself to succeed.

 

True Business Opportunity Multi Level Marketing can exist only in a system in which there are enough customers that need and/or want to buy the main products that the business is to provide.
